Wild Flowers Seeds
The ultimate keepsake by SETTLER HIVES.
These wild flower seeds are available in 3 beautiful types:
Zinna Lilliput (elegans):
The bright pom pom like flower petals are sure to indulge your cottage garden fantasies. You can count on them growing 40cm tall, standing pretty in a pot (or plot) and living for around a year.
Watch for impressed glances from envious (surely not shocked) neighbours because of the purples, pinks, reds, yellows, oranges and Mr Darcy.*
*Mr Darcy not guaranteed every time.
Common Daisy White (bellis perennis):
This is truly beautiful. Get this. The name translates from the Latin, Bellus meaning pretty and perennis meaning perennial or forever. “Pretty Forever” not so stock standard. You may know it as a Lawn Daisy or English Daisy, but our favourite is the term “Day’s Eye” and is a reference to the way that the flower closes at night and opens in the day. Watch out. Low-growing, carpet-forming perennial win.
Rudbackia Marmalade (rudbeckia hirta):
Are you day dreaming of the English countryside but can’t leave your day job? Grow your own meadow- like orange flowers to pick for inside vases (to gaze at while you enjoy your marmalade toast). They are best described as warm orange-yellow petals with a huge dark cone sized centre. They bloom all through Summer and Autumn and if you trim the bush back to 1/3 its original size after flowering, you can expect them to bring the sunshine again the following year! As endearing and warm as Paddington Bear.
